Good morning everybody! Our sprawling, slow-moving high pressure center will continue to slowly shift and press south and east through the New England region and south and east of here.
This will allow humidity to and temp to most assuredly come UP as we arrive into the late-week period and through the weekend. .
SUMMAH-RY
–Light northeast flow will last for one more day today which will keep temps mainly in the mid to upper 70s under mostly sunny skies
–Lows tonight will settle down to near 50 degrees under mostly clear skies
–By Wednesday, highs will be in the low 80s with a calm wind and mostly sunny skies
–On Wednesday night lows will drop into the low to mid 50s under mostly clear skies
–By Thursday, light southerly flow will increase humidity in the region
–Highs will reach the mid to upper 80s under mostly sunny skies
–Lows will be mild Thursday night and won’t setle much below the low 60s
–On Friday and Saturday, our heat will maximize and reach the mid 80s to low 90s under mostly sunny skies and humid conditions
–Lows will only bottom out in the low to mid 60s both nights
–A frontal boundary should then press into the region Sunday and Monday, which will hopefully generate at least scattered showers and thunderstorms in a continued humid environment with highs in the 80s
