Good morning everybody, our star is shining optimally on New England, reminding us that we are cosmic beings first, and Earthly citizens second. That big blue sky is our window to the Universe, and that we can hurtle through Space at 515,000mph orbiting our Sun like clockwork and KNOW and be aware of that fact, is magical indeed, if you ask me, despite our devolutionary tendencies these days and other major challenges.

As for our weather, Summah is arriving right on time! Both of my eyes have double-dashes written all over them, and so I am going to use the digits that terminate along my bilateral upper extremities and peck away your daily summah-ry forthwith!

SUMMAH-RY
–After a chilly mid-June start, we’re off to the races with highs reaching the low to mid 80s under sunny skies, with dewpoints only in the 50s, so it will be dry and very warm with a light and variable wind
–One more chilly and assuredly dry night, with lows in the low to mid 50s to help foster decent sleep… open those windows and let the air in because humidity begins to build by tomorrow evening
–The heat gets hots tomorrow, with highs reaching the mid 80s to low 90s with dewpoints cresting 60 degrees by evening as our blocking pattern breaks down, and high pressure drifts southeast of us, putting us into south-southwesterly flow
–Lows will only be in the low 60s tomorrow evening as humidity comes up
–By Friday, we’re hot again, with highs in the mid 80s to low 90s (from high terrain to low terrain) under mostly sunny skies with muggy conditions being supported by dewpoints into the mid 60s
–We can’t rule out an isolated shower, either
–Lows will bottom out into the low to mid 60s
–By Saturday, our hottest day of this stretch, and the possible final day of our mini-heat wave arrives, as does the Summer Solstice at 5:43pm! Summah! You can’t ask for a more perfect New England summer day, that’s for sure
–Once Saturday arrives, our sky pattern changes up a bit, and we can expect more partly sunny skies on average through the weekend into next week, which is a change from the brilliant blue sky we’ve been experiencing as of late
–Highs will reach the upper 80s to mid 90s and Heat Advisories may need to be posted for some areas
–Scattered showers and an isolated thunderstorm will be possible in the afternoon and evening, and it will be muggy for sure
–Lows will be in the mid 60s, and I can hear the ACs and fans whirring already
–Sunday through Tuesday will be a little less hot, with highs in the mid to upper 80s, under partly sunny skies with scattered showers and a thunderstorm possible each afternoon and evening with muggy conditions, and lows in the 60s
–A cold front swings through Monday night, which may tamp the humidity down by Tuesday

I hope at least one thing swings your way today, stay healthy and hydrated!
