Good morning everybody, this is going to be an abbreviated report as I am traveling today after visiting my elderly father in FL, but I will provide a full update tomorrow for sure.
For today, our storm system is long gone but its interaction with incoming high pressure continues to cause northwest wind gusts this early morning of 25-40mph.
Any morning clouds should dissipate into a mostly sunny day with highs in the mid 40s to mid 50s with northwest winds slowly weakening by late morning into the afternoon and night.
Clouds will increase, especially to the south in CT, overnight as a weak wave whips by to our south, and lows will sit down to either side of 30º.

Sunday should also develop into a mostly sunny day with highs in the mid 40s to mid 50s with breezy conditions, and lows in the low to mid 30s.
As of now, warm advection showers from what could become our multi-day coastal storm system that may bring heavy rain and elevation-dependent accumulating (and plowable) snowfall will work into the region.
There is still much uncertainty that remains with how an upper trough, a developing northern stream low center and a southern stream low center will interact over New England.
However, the signals continue to mount for substantial storminess during the Tuesday through Thursday period, including a deep coastal low somewhere near Cape Cod and potential for soaking rain and heavy accumulating snow in parts of the region, with (hopeful) improvements by Friday.
Have a great day, and I will keep you updated on next week’s storm!

“Hello babies. Welcome to Earth. It’s hot in the summer and cold in the winter. It’s round and wet and crowded. On the outside, babies, you’ve got a hundred years here. There’s only one rule that I know of, babies: Goddamn it, you’ve got to be kind.”
