DO ALL THE THINGS TODAY… A GORGEOUS SATURDAY LEADS TO A DECENT SUNDAY, BUT SHOWERS ARRIVE BY LATE AFTERNOON AND THE EVENING, MAYBE A RUMBLE OF THUNDER… ARE A MORNING SHOWER MONDAY, THE MONDAY THROUGH WEDNESDAY STRETCH SHOULD FEATURE SUBSTANTIAL SUNSHINE AND HIGHS IN THE 75-80 RANGE… HUMIDITY, WARMTH AND SCATTERED SHOWER POTENTIAL ALL BUILD BACK IN BY LATE WEEK, AND IF THE FLOW SETS UP RIGHT WE MIGHT PUSH THE MID 80S OR SO BY FRIDAY… 6:00am SAT…
Good morning folks, we’ve got a heck of a day on tap for our Saturday, though it will be most Autumnal!
We begin with a chilly start this morning in the 40s to low 50s! Any morning clouds will dissipate, and we’ll see highs rise into the upper 60s to mid 70s under mostly sunny skies. Dewpoints will only be in the 40s (see attached chart), so The Crispening will be maximized!
Light west flow will be in place tonight, and we’ll see lows drop to about the upper 40s to low 50s under mostly clear skies.
On Sunday, a system will be diving southeast through the Great Lakes which will develop a southwest flow into the region, bringing in more moisture.
Regardless, we should see partly to mostly sunny skies for a good part of the day into the early to mid afternoon, before clouds build in, and some scattered showers arrive by late afternoon into the evening. We can’t rule out a few thunder rumbles, but the chance looks low for thunder.
Highs on Sunday should reach the mid 70s to low 80s with lows in the 50s.
By Monday, any very early morning showers exit, and we should develop a northwest flow behind that departing system, along with drying conditions.
Right now, it looks like we’ll enjoy a 3-day stretch during Monday through Wednesday of mostly sunny skies with highs in the 75-80º range and lows in the low to mid 50s with low humidity, and we sure need it!
By late week, humidity will start to return as high pressure off of the east coast flexes, and drives a humid, southwesterly flow into the region, which will increase instability.
Highs should get up and into the upper 70s to low 80s at least, but some mid 80s wouldn’t surprise me by Friday. Afternoon scattered showers or a storm will be expected as well each day.
Have a great day and get outside if you can!
