SYNOPSIS:
–Patchy fog burns off over the Monadnock Region and nearby areas, revealing a mostly sunny day
–Highs reach the upper 60s to mid 70s today with light south wind, and low humidity
–Lows tonight drop into the upper 40s to low 50s, which will prompt me to do lawn angels in the pre-dawn morning dew, my honey
–More of a partly sunny day tomorrow, but still dry, beautiful, highs upper 60s to mid 70s, as our meridional flow (more south to north, than west to east) propagates our incoming later week storm system toward New England at tortoise-level speed
–Lows Tuesday night will drop into the mid to upper 50s as moisture begins to increase
–Wednesday is our transition day for sure, as clouds continue to build with a few sunny breaks earlier on
–Highs will reach the low to mid 70s, and a few showers can’t be ruled out in the afternoon, and especially so at night, but not a washout.
–Humidity and temps will increase with lows in the low to mid 60s
–Thursday looks like the rainmaker, as a wound-up low drifts slowly northeast into the Great Lakes with a great arm/ribbon of rainfall draws moisture from south to north up the east coast and into New England
–Highs will reach well into the 70s but it will be humid (see attached chart which shows muggification over our region, yet Crispening potential just to the west!)
–It will also be showery, with some thunderstorms possible. Lows in the low to mid 60s
–For Friday, the front should be SLOWLY exiting east with showers ongoing in the morning, before waning with hopefully a partly sunny afternoon developing behind the front
–Highs will be in the upper 60s to mid 70s as drier air starts to work around the wound-up low from our southwest, which is an odd direction from which to see lower humidity advecting into New England, but it happens at times
–The weekend looks pretty good right now, with highs 65-70, but let’s get close before we speak too definitively about it
Have a great day!
