Good morning folks, we’ve got another ground cloud morning in spots to start our day, and once again, our ground clouds will evaporate into thin air and, poof, the Cosmos and our Star will be revealed, presented to us in that familiar medium blue color. It really is remarkable, though, that we’re just wholly exposed to Space – there it is, and there’s a lot of it. Amazing.

We’ll jump into all of our weather details below, but first let’s get a word from our local and delicious sponsor, #TandemBagelCo

SUMMARY:
–We’ve got a cool start to the morning with temps in the 50s, and similar dewpoints, so we’ve had some patchy fog form once again (notably in Pittsfield and Westfield)
–High pressure is centered over Atlantic Canada and using its clockwise circulation to exert a northeast flow into the New England today
–We’ll see the fog burn off by mid/late morning, and enjoy mostly sunny skies with highs in the upper 60s to low 70s and light wind
–However, the front will be tracking southwest into our region (so-called a “back door front” because it tracks in retrograde to the normal west to west direction)
–This will increase clouds this afternoon in EMass and then CMass into the evening. Thereafter, it will cloud up everywhere even in the WMass region, with some drizzle patches possible overnight, and perhaps a light shower or two
–Lows will drop into the upper 40s to low 50s
–For Saturday, expect mostly cloudy conditions, with some morning drizzle possible, with highs only in the upper 50s to low 60s
–Saturday night will be raw and chilly with lows in the 45-50º range, again with the potential for a bit of drizzle
–On Sunday, we’ll be watching a coastal low that will have bobbed north off of the Carolina coast, to be positioned just east of the Mid-Atlantic
–We’ll still have overall higher pressures in the northeast, and this should help to suppress most of that storm’s rainfall south and southeast of us
–Still, some scattered showers are possible on Sunday afternoon and night, especially south of the Rt. 9 corridor in MA
–Highs Sunday will reach the upper 50s to mid 60s with lows in the 50s
–By Monday, we should dry a bit, but mostly cloudy skies are still expected from the influence of our coastal low.
–Highs will reach the upper 60s to low 70s, so temps will come up a touch. Lows will drop into the low to mid 50s
–Tuesday into the middle of the week should see high pressure return its dominance with partial sunshine developing and warmer temps developing
–Highs should reach the low to mid 70s Tuesday through Thursday with lows in the 50s under partly to mostly sunny skies
–We may cool down by next weekend with another chance of showers associated with a frontal passage, but that’s a long way away at this point

We’ve got a lot of seconds and moments to move through before next weekend, so let’s put one foot in front of the other today, and do the best we can with what we’ve got – it’s all we can ever do.

Have a great day!
