Good morning everybody, I am chest deep in my 2022 weather calendar fulfillment project as I work morning, noon and night to get them out the door and into the mail stream.

I’m actually grateful that our weather is not producing big snowy Nor’easters, late-season thunderstorms, or wicked windy systems so I can focus on shipping these all out ASAP.

As an update to my customers, I shipped some out last Wednesday before Thanksgiving, am sending another huge shipment out Tuesday morning, and I plan to have them all out by Thursday morning latest, which is a full week earlier than usual compared to past years.

As for our weather, we’ve actually got some snow showers in the region, but most of them are evaporating into the lower humidity region at the surface over the Pioneer Valley, though some flurries should make it to the ground.

The rest of the day looks mostly cloudy with highs in the 30s as a weak area of low pressure moves through the region.

For tonight, another wave will cross the region and weaken, while a secondary low develops and forms well southeast of us.

This should bring a period of snow showers or light snow through the region tonight, but I’m tending to lean toward scattered snow showers as we’re kind of caught between the dying and developing lows in a doldrum zone.

Still, coatings are expected for some tonight, and up to an inch or so in the high terrain either side of the CT River in CT, MA, SVT, and SWNH. Lows will drop into the 20s with a light wind.

For Monday, any early morning snow showers abate leaving us with a partly sunny day that will develop with cold highs in the low to upper 30s from high terrain to low. Lows will be quite cold (like this morning) and down into the mid teens to low 20s.

For Tuesday, a few lake effect snow showers are possible in the Berkshires and Taconics, with highs in the 35-40º range and lows in the 20s.

On Wednesday, we’ll be awaiting a warm front that will push into the region overnight. Before that happens, we should enjoy a slightly milder day with highs in the upper 30s to mid 40s under partly sunny skies, with more clouds late.

By Wednesday night, some moisture will push our way with the warm front, so some snow showers should arrive after midnight with lows in the upper 20s.

Morning showers of rain and snow will give way to a partly sunny day with highs in the 45-50º range behind the front – balmy!! LOL

A cold front will be hot on the warm front’s heels, as is typical for this time of year, and push more rain and snow showers through at night with lows in the low to mid 30s with west winds picking up behind the front and gusting into Friday morning.

Friday looks blustery and both days look colder with highs in the mid 30s to low 40s under partly to mostly sunny skies.
