Good morning everybody, we have some clouds around this morning, but more sunshine should develop as the day progresses as a cold front slowly travels southeast through the region from north to south.

Call it partly to mostly sunny on average with highs in the upper 40s to mid 50s and some northwest winds gusting to 15-20mph in the afternoon as the cold air seeps into the region. Lows tonight will be in the low to mid 20s under partly cloudy skies.

For tomorrow, warm air advection will push northeast into the region and clash a bit with in-place cold air.

This will cause a partly sunny more to become cloudier, and the resulting atmospheric lift will generate some snow and rain showers by mid to late afternoon west of the I-91 corridor in northwest CT, WMass and southern VT.

The high terrain highs will only be in the mid 30s, so folks in the Berkshires should see some scattered snow or sleet showers, on up into SVT and the western hilltowns, where as valley denizens we’ll see some sky liquid, a/k/a rain showers.

Mixed snow and rain showers will continue Sunday night, but temps will come up as a warm front pushes through so lows should end up being near the highs, somewhere in the mid to upper 30s.

Some slippery roadways and/or light snow/ice accumulations are possible in the high terrain west of the I-91 corridor, especially north of Rt. 2.

For Monday, any shower activity should get out of there by noon, with partly sunny skies by afternoon as a second cold front presses through the region. Highs will reach the low to upper 40s.

By Monday evening, clouds should build back into the Berkshire region with some scattered lake effect snow showers. Otherwise, the rest of us should remain dry with lows in the upper 20s to low 30s.

Tuesday looks cold and sunny, with highs in the 35-40º range, with lows in the mid 20s.

Wednesday starts off partly sunny, then clouds up as the next storm system traveling along the country’s zonal west-east flow starts to push toward the region.

Highs will reach the mid to upper 40s, and some showers are expected by afternoon and into Wednesday night, with lows in the mid to upper 30s.

Thanksgiving Day looks partly sunny at best, with some morning showers and clouds, but will need more time to parse through things and clarify expectations.

I hope you have a great day, and please consider supporting my work here through purchasing my 2021 Weather Calendar below (sale ends TOMORROW) as holiday gifts, or a gift to yourself, thank you!
