Good morning folks, did you see the lunar eclipse? Post some photos below if you did! What a difference a day makes, as temps will be some 25 to 30 degrees cooler today when compared to yesterday.

Aside from some Berkshire and SVT scattered snow showers into the afternoon, our blustery but sunny Friday sees winds slacken into the weekend which looks mostly dry until showers arrive Sunday into Monday. There’s more to talk about, but before we do, I’ve got a note from our local and delicious sponsor, #TandemBagelCo, who just opened a new location in West Springfield, MA.

A NOTE FROM OUR SPONSOR:
DHTWN Is Sponsored by Members, Patrons & Tandem Bagel Company: No matter the weather, Tandem Bagel is always there for you at several valley locations to make your mornings brighter! With bagels baked fresh daily, house-whipped cream cheese, coffee, and tons of lunch options, Tandem is the perfect quick stop for lunch, breakfast, or a coffee and bagel to go. Find them in Easthampton, Northampton, Hadley, Florence (and now West Springfield!), or use their super-streamlined online ordering tool by visiting their website: https://www.tandembagelco.com

WEATHER BULLETIN:
–Good morning everybody, today’s report will be on the shorter side as there isn’t a lot of dynamic weather for us to interface with over the next week, which is good in terms of holiday travel
–For today, we have colder northwest flow established behind our cold frontal departure, and winds will gust 25-35mph at times today, especially at elevation
–In other words, bundle up, as highs will only reach the upper 30s to mid 40s, but at least we’ll enjoy mostly sunny skies in the valley, and partly sunny skies in the high terrain west of I-91
–Watch for some lake effect snow showers in SVT and northwest MA, then sliding from north to south through the Berkshires/Taconics into the Litchfields by afternoon before ending
–For tonight, it’s cold with lows in the low to mid 20s under clear skies
–High pressure builds in from our southwest Saturday and calms our wind down, promoting mostly sunny skies early with highs in the low to mid 40s
–Clouds build later in the afternoon as milder air is sent northeastward as our high passes our longitude south of us
–Lows will be around freezing
–Sunday looks mostly cloudy but milder, with highs either side of 50º
–A few showers are possible before sunset, but most of the shower activity arrives Sunday night into Monday with a mild day with highs in the low to mid 50s
–Showers end Monday night as the front moves through, which should lead to the coldest days yet for Tuesday and Wednesday with highs only in the mid to upper 30s Tuesday, and not much milder on Wednesday
–Thanksgiving Day looks seasonably cool, fair, with mostly sunny skies and highs in the 40s, so travel impacts look to be zero in terms of our weather’s involvement, so that’s great news!

Have a great day, folks, and remember that with the sale ending **this Sunday night** my 2022 calendar can serve as a useful holiday gift for friends, family, employees, organizations, or colleagues… or you can pick one up for yourself before the sale ends. Your support means very much to me… Thanks!
