Temps this morning are generally in the upper 20s to low 30s with mixed precip across the region, as well as some mid 30s with plain rain. We even some mid 20s in southern VT and southwest NH. I will bullet things out for you to get you on your way, and thanks very much for all the condition reports yesterday!!
–As you can see in the attached map, our low pressure center is south of central Long Island and tracking east-northeast towards RI
–This storm is pulling in colder air to its northwest, as well as generated waves of precipitation and sending those north
–As you can see in the attached radar, we are turning back to snow across eastern NY and that is entering VT, MA and CT at this hour
–Mixed precip that is ongoing should eventually turn back to snow, and an additional accumulating of anywhere from a coating to as much as 3″ will be possible through the noon hour
–We should start drying and clearing by later in the afternoon with some partly sunny skies possible by then, and highs in the mid 30s
–West winds will gust 20-30mph at times, as well
–We clear a bit more tonight with lows in the upper 20s to low 30s, so slippery travel on secondary roads is possible tonight and early tomorrow morning
–Saturday looks like a nice day with some melting potential, with highs in the upper 30s to low 40s and mostly sunny skies
–Lows will be in the 20s with more refreezing and black ice potential late at night and early Sunday AM
–Sunday starts off partly sunny with highs in the low to mid 30s, but we will cloud up later in the day
–Lows are forecast to drop into the 20s as another small wave of low pressure works into the region
–This will bring the chance for additional light accumulations of snow at night and into the first half of Monday, but nothing like we just went through
–Then we go into a drier, zonal flow pattern (i.e. our weather generally moves west to east across the country, with no north-south dips that promote storm activity along the east coast)
–This means that we should generally be drier and at least partly sunny and cool next week through Thanksgiving Day. Lord know we all need a break in the stormy pattern
Here is a link to a brief from WWLP on the tractor trailer crash on the MassPike heading east near Brimfeld that has closed the Pike:

Have a great day and give yourself extra time this morning, as some secondary roads are likely to still be slick, and additional light accumulating snow, which may fall moderately to even briefly heavy for a time later this morning is possible.
