SUMMARY:
–Good morning peeps, a warm front lifts through the region today
–The reason why we’re not seeing much total rainfall is that while it’s very moist the first half of the day, there is no real lifting mechanism to raise the air to produce precip
–Then, once the lift arrives (cold front tonight) the bulk of the moisture has tracked east and away from our region
–So, expect scattered showers today with patchy fog during the first part of the day
–There will be dry, mostly cloudy periods as well
–It’ll breezy out of the south at times
–For tonight, a cold front will track through the region, and bring a few more showers through
–By tomorrow, the first half of the day will be mild with highs in the mid 40s but then with west winds gusting to 30mph or so, temps will fall back into the 30s by dinner time
–Lows tomorrow night will crash into the upper teens to mid 20s with any snow melt refreezing and causing black patches late Saturday night into Sunday morning
–Sunday looks cold and sunny, with highs in the 30s and lows near 20 degrees with clouds increasing
–For Monday, a bit of light snow is possible in the morning, or a few snow showers. Could also be a total miss south. Such is the winter pattern this year
–Otherwise, we’re in the low to mid 40s for highs under partly to mostly sunny skies in the lower terrain of WMass, CMass and NCT, with highs more in the low to mid 30s Sunday through Tuesday in the high terrain and lows in the teens, then cresting 40 degrees by Wednesday and Thursday
Looking quiet and milder folks, with a brief seasonable cold shot early this coming week.
Have a great day, and enjoy The Mildening!
