Good morning everybody, we’ve got a relatively tranquil week coming up in the Weather Department, so we’ll run through things in double–dashed list form below. As my old buddy Al once said before a gig we played at Smith College in the mid 90s, let’s get down to bizness, kids!

SUMMARY
–Strong high pressure is building in to the south of New England today
–This will promote a milder, light southwest flow into the region
–While today should be mostly sunny for most of us, there will be periods of partly sunny skies as well
–Highs will generally reach the mid 40s to low 50s from north to south
–Lows tonight will dip into the mid to upper 30s under mostly cloudy skies as moisture works in from the southwest
–For Tuesday, we’ll be milder as that southerly flow strengthens with the high pressure center well east of us
–We can expect more clouds than sun, and a few isolated light showers in the afternoon possible, but mostly dry
–Highs will be warmer, well into the 50s, and a few spots might hit 60º in northern CT
–Lows will drop into the mid to upper 30s as a weak wave tracks north of us and brings a few showers through, with patchy fog possible as well
–Wednesday will start off with some morning fog most likely, then transition to very mild, mostly sunny day with highs in the mid 50s to near 60º, with lows near 40º
–Thursday will feature another storm system, but this one should track mostly south of us
–Still, the rain shield could inch up and graze areas south of the Pike with periods of showers in the afternoon and evening
–Highs will be in the mid to upper 50s with lows in the low 40s
–Behind that system, even milder air works in, with highs well into the 60s with some areas approaching 70º for a day!
–It looks like a dry, partly sunny day, and super gorgeous
–Clouds build Friday night, and then Saturday looks like we’ve got a rainstorm to deal with, but no thunderstorms look likely at the moment with highs in the 50s
–Sunday doesn’t look like full sun, but looks drier than Saturday, and cooler with highs in the upper 40s to low 50s, still way milder than the wintry weekend we just went through!

I HOPE YOU’LL KEEP ME AS YOUR STORM GUIDE…
MY 2022 MEMBER DRIVE ENDS A WEEK FROM SUNDAY
