DAILY DISH AND DISCUSSION
We have mixed temps out there this morning, with lots of areas in the 40s and 50s, but some areas in southern VT and the Rt. 2 corridor in WMass and CMass that are in the 30s! Some folks in SVT are even below freezing, and this is all thanks to a low level cold drain that worked into areas sheltered by any overnight wind.
***Quick Note: If you click on the attached images, you’ll get explanations about what they mean.***
Temps will rebound today, though, and skies will be mixed sunshine and clouds this morning.
Highs will reach the upper 50s in the high terrain of the WMass region west of the I-91 corridor, up to the low/mid 60s in valley locations.
Rain showers should arrive in the Berkshires either side of the noon hour, and should generally be light at first.
There will be periods of either very light activity or just overcast skies.
As the cold front approaches tonight, showers will pick back up this evening and last until about midnight before clearing out of here to the east.
Again, about a tenth to a third of an inch looks like it will do it for rainfall, with the highest end of that range west of I-91.
Lows tonight will drop into the low to mid 30s.

For Wednesday, high pressure will build in behind the cold front, as will cooler temps. Highs should reach the mid 40s to low 50s under mostly sunny skies with lows near the freezing mark under partly cloudy skies.
Thursday looks fair as well, but with more mixed clouds and sunshine, with highs in the low 50s and lows in the mid 30s as clouds increase.
Yet another storm system will pass to our northwest for Friday, and bring showers in here before dawn on Friday morning. Rain should last through the day the way it looks now, with highs in the mid to upper 50s and lows near freezing as showers quit at night.
The weekend through Monday looks great!!
It will noticeably cooler with mostly sunny skies and highs in the 40s with lows in the 20s and fair weather throughout.
Have a great day, and please do help keep me on this job for you and this great community (please read below)!
