Good morning everybody, it’s funny how we were all lamenting the rainfall in April and the first half of May, now we want it back!
Weather is interesting that way.
Anyway, on to the deets!
SUMMARY
–High pressure noses through the region today
–Highs rise into the upper 70s to mid 80s under mostly sunny skies
–Clouds and humidity increases tonight, with lows near 60 degrees
–A pre-frontal instability zone will push in for Friday, increasing humidity, and allowing for some scattered showers or thunderstorms to form in the afternoon
–Highs should soar into the mid to upper 80s
–Lows will only sit in the 60s with muggy air and a shower or t-storm possible
–For Saturday, our cold front swings east through the region
–This brings the best chance for a larger area of showers and storms, and some may be strong to severe
–Highs will range from the upper 70s to mid 80s, with high humidity
–Cooler and drier air sweeps the region Saturday night, with clearing skies and lows in the 50s, much more comfortable for sleeping as humidity decreases
–Sunday is the weekend pick, with mostly sunny skies and highs in the upper 60s to mid 70s, and lows near 50
–Monday and Tuesday follow suit with dry conditions, mostly sunny skies, highs in the 70s and lows in the 50s
–The remnants of Tropical Storm Cristobal will help moisten a cold front that will sweep through later next week and bring our next chance of rain then
Hope you have a great day, and hope you enjoy this lovely photo of the Berkshires yesterday by Jessica Ryan Lapinski!
