Good morning everybody, I can’t sleep in these conditions so here I am. Plus, we have some weather moving through this morning that I spotted late last night that I wanted to post about to the early birds (and I can hear those early birds just lighting up as the first solar rays reach their sensitive eyes and chirpy beaks).

Some of you will see this at 4:30am, and others at 7:00am when I will repost to catch folks who come on FB later in the morning.

SUMMARY
–A pre-frontal trough is tracking through the region from SSW to NNE this early morning, and bringing showers, downpours and even a few thunderstorms
–This activity will affect mainly areas west of I-91 through early/mid morning, and especially in the hilly terrain of eastern NY, WMass, nortthwest CT and SVT
–That action moves through, we get a lull, and then the actual cold front moves through this afternoon, which will spawn scattered showers and possibly a few strong thunderstorms with gusty winds or small hail
–Highs today will reach the low to upper 80s with humid conditions and dewpoints in the 60s
–After any evening showers in CMass, we become partly cloudy and start to dry out and cool down, with lows in the mid to upper 50s (thank god)
–Thursday will feature drier conditions, but it will still be warm under mostly sunny skies with lower humidity and highs in the low to mid 80s, along with a possible afternoon isolated shower
–Lows will again be in the mid to upper 50s
–Friday looks dry with highs in the low to mid 80s, partly sunny skies, and a spot shower possible in the afternoon. Lows will be in the upper 50s to low 60s
–We should see a resurgence of warmth and humidity on Saturday into Sunday. Again, scattered showers and thunderstorms will be possible each afternoon/evening, especially on Sunday
–Highs on Saturday will reach the low to upper 80s from high terrain to low terrain areas, and it will be humid with dewpoints in the 60s. Lows will only drop into the 60s for more uncomfortable sleeping weather conditions
–On Sunday, another cold front moves into the region, with highs in the low to mid 80s. Scattered showers and storms are expected and another round of lowered humidity and somewhat less warm temps arrive for Sunday night through Tuesday
–Lows will generally be either side of 60 degrees with highs in the upper 70s to mid 80s

I hope good things happen for and to you today…
