Western Mass Weather for December 9, 2018

DRY, COLD AND SUNNY WEATHER CONTINUES THROUGH THURSDAY… MILDER TEMPS ON FRIDAY BRING RAIN FRIDAY NIGHT AND SATURDAY AS WE RISE INTO THE 40s THROUGH THE WEEKEND…
(7:05am Sun)

Good morning everybody, are you loving this weather? As much as I love what I do here, after an extremely busy Winter, Spring, Summer and Fall with no real break, I am personally grateful for this quiet stretch which has allowed me to focus on getting the calendar shipment together. Speaking of which, calendars should be shipping on Tuesday.

As for our weather, we’ll enjoy a mostly sunny, calm day with light southwest winds will help highs to crest into the mid to upper 30s, with lows in the teens.

Monday looks like a copy of today with temps possibly a few degrees cooler.

As the snowstorm in the southeast U.S. pulls away over the ocean and to our southeast, it will help pull in one more cold shot for Tuesday and Wednesday with mostly sunny skies and highs in the upper 20s to low 30s both days, and lows in the low teens.

Thursday should also be mostly sunny as high pressure continues to dominate with highs in the mid 30s and lows in the low to mid 20s.

The pattern changes up on Friday, as milder air works into the region from the southwest with a ridge off the east coast. This allows highs to reach the 40s.

While Friday looks to be partly sunny, clouds should increase in the afternoon, with rain moving in at night and continuing throughout Saturday.

Sunday could feature some showers, but should be the pick of the weekend, as Saturday looks soggy. Highs will be in the 30s both days.

Have a great SunDay!
