Western Mass Weather for December 26, 2020

Good morning everybody, I hope you had a nice Christmas holiday if you celebrated. Luckily, the weather cooperated for the most part (except for folks who lived in Monson, MA, and parts of CT and southern Worcester County).

Our weather is fairly pedestrian, so I am going to do a brief report today with a summary below.

SUMMARY
–Black ice patches this morning
–West winds will gust to 20mph at times today
–Minor flooding will be possible on the CT River at Montague and Northampton
–Highs will reach the upper 20s to low 30s under partly sunny skies
–Lows will drop into the teens
–Sunday looks mostly sunny with highs in the low/mid 30s
–Lows will be in the mid 20s
–For Monday, clouds build and some mixed showers will arrive, with some snow in the morning and rain as the day wears on with highs in the low to mid 40s, and lows in the low to mid 20s
–Tuesday and Wednesday look fair and cold, with highs Tuesday in the mid to upper 20s, lows in the teens, and highs in the low to mid 30s Wednesday with lows in the 20s
–More rain showers are expected New Year’s Eve into New Year’s Day as another storms could cut to our west
