SUMMARY
–Good morning folks, I like to periodically redirect our attention from our tribal, kicking-around-the-dirt orientation and remind us that the sky is actually The Universe staring at us
–Today’s cosmic perspective is my holiday gift to you, and I hope it’s everything you ever wanted AND a bag of chips!
–For today, aside from some ocean effect snow showers over the Cape and Nantucket, high pressure will be tracking towards the region
–Mostly sunny skies will develop today, and we’ll have a very cold night tonight as the high crests overhead
–Thursday is the heart of the final wave of unseasonable cold with mostly sunny skies and highs in the upper 20s (high terrain) to low 30s (valley)
–Lows will drop into the upper teens
–For Friday, the Pacific air finally arrives and temps will rise into the upper 30s to low 40s with partly sunny skies early, and increasing clouds as the day turns to night
–Rain showers with a few possible patches of ice in the high terrain will arrive Friday night with lows in the low to mid 30s, though temps should rise late
–Saturday looks rainy, with highs in the low to upper 40s with a few showers at night and lows in the 30s
–Sunday is a bit trick at the moment, but it looks like it should be a pretty decent day with some breaks of sun and not much wet weather
–As for rain amounts, the heaviest rain would fall down in CT and RI, but we’ll have to refine as we get closer. Doesn’t look like a wash out
–We’ll have a one-day cold snap by next Tuesday, but more mild weather is on the way by end of next week
Have a great day!
