Good morning, humans!! We’re still here!! Each day is like a new mini-life we’ve been given. We’re born in the morn, we die at night, and we develop during each day.
I hope today’s mini-life goes well for you, and that you do something you love today, even if it’s for only 10 minutes.
That’s the thing… “I’m too busy, I can’t do it, it’s never going to happen”. #YAWN
You can find 10 minutes to do something you love today: find a new recipe online, read a book you love, play an instrument, take a walk, listen to two songs off of a record (yes, that’s what they called them back when this old-and-in-the-way writer grew up), exercise, whatever.
Ok, your motivational moment has come and gone, now here’s Dave with the weather… Dave? DAVE?!
*Dave picks his head up off the table, beat down by all this humidity and heat that turns him into a foggy mush mind*
SUMMAH-RY
–After patchy fog burns off, sunshine dominates much of the region into the afternoon
–We’ve got a final hot day to endure in this stretch, with highs reaching the mid 80s to low 90s
–The slow moving cold front that brought showers and storms through our region last night and early this morning continues to slowly press southeast
–With new diurnal heating today, more showers and storms will likely fire along the front down in northern CT and possibly up to the level of the Pike in WMass and CMass
–Despite a rogue, stray shower elsewhere, most of us will stay dry
–It will still be humid, though humidity should start to come down in southern VT, southwest NH, and northern MA with time
–Dewpoints will peak out in the mid 60s to low 70s, which is why the Heat Advisories are up, as heat indices could reach the mid to upper 90s for one last day for areas along and south of the Pike in the lower elevations
–Tonight any shower or storm activity wanes, and lows will drop into the low 60s with more comfortable levels of humidity
–Thursday is still quite warm with highs in the mid 80s under mostly sunny skies with dewpoints in the low to mid 60s as the cold front slowly pulls away to the south
–Lows Thursday night will be in the low to mid 60s
–By Friday, a secondary cold front will be set to push through the region
–This will bring the chance for an isolated shower or three, and possibly a thunderstorm
–Highs will be in the low to mid 80s under partly to mostly sunny skies
–Lows will drop into the upper 50s to mid 60s
–The weekend looks KILLER, with mostly sunny skies on Saturday, and on average, partly sunny skies on Sunday
–Highs will be in the upper 70s to low 80s, light wind, low humidity, and lows will be in the 50s to low 60s, just delightful
–A few showers are possible early next week, but continued highs in the 70s and 80s will rule the roost
Have a great life-day!
