TODAY’S NUTSHELL: High pressure dominates and tracks northeast through our region today and tomorrow with warmer temps and a sunny Tuesday. Clouds build Wednesday, with showers arriving late Wednesday night into Thursday. A cold front brings a few showers Friday, but another northeast rainstorm is possible for Saturday, depending on track with “hopeful” improvements by later Sunday. Could we crest 80º by the middle of next week? A warm up is possible!

YOUR MORNING DISCUSSION
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Good morning folks, sunshine brings moments of resplendent joy showering down upon your sweet punums as you face our star, close your eyes, raise your ‘brows and smile like the Sun, taking joy just because you can, even if for a few fleeting seconds. Isn’t like like that, though? Just a fleeting blip in time? Embrace the warmth we get to feel in our lives today as highs rise into the mid to upper 70s under mostly sunny skies, with lows in the low to mid 50s as dewpoints come up a bit.
For Wednesday, moisture flow will increase into the region, first in the form of clouds streaming in from the southwest, so it looks like a mostly cloudy day will be developing with highs in the low to mid 70s.
By evening, a frontal boundary will be approaching the region and push showers into the greater WMass region at night and into Thursday morning, so a wet commute looks likely for Thursday morning. Lows will dip into the low to mid 50s, and highs on Thursday will reach the mid to upper 60s (lows in the 50s).
Showers may last past morning in scattered form, but the bulk of the rain falls on Thursday morning.
By Friday, we should enjoy a lull between wet systems in the form of a partly sunny day with highs in the low 70s.
However, by Friday night into Saturday, yet another northeast rainstorm may be foisting its unwelcome collection of hydrometeors our way with highs either side of 70º as a wet beginning to the weekend may unfold, but wait! Hark! Look!
I do think that by Sunday we could see that storm pass by and leave us with a partly sunny close to the weekend with highs in the 70s, with fair weather lasting into early next week.
In fact, we may get our first real taste of summer by mid week with a shot at reaching 80s for high temps, but we shall see.
Have a great day, and may good things come your way!
