WEATHER REPORT
Good morning everybody, despite what happens in this world, and while we have sandwiches to eat, remember to heed the sage advice from Warren Zevon, which is to enjoy every sandwich.

Words to live (and eat) by.

In terms of our weather, we’ve got some patchy fog out there, but it’ll burn off with time, and we can expect highs generally in the mid 60s to low 70s with lows in the mid 40s to low 50s.

Opening the hood and peering in, we’re under the influence of a spiraling and vertically-stacked low pressure system over the Great Lakes region which looks like a pinwheel on satellite and vapor imagery.

This system will track further east today, and around it is southwesterly flow that will create gusts to 20mph at times today.

In addition, this system will send one of its energy spokes into our region over the mid afternoon to evening timeframe, which will introduce some isolated showers and thunderstorms that will wet the grounds of a few towns, and rumble a few houses in our region.

It’ll be an isolated threat, though, and many of us will stay dry.

After a cool-ish start, we’re autumnally rise up into the mid to upper 60s for highs tomorrow under partly sunny skies, with an even weaker chance for a spot shower, with lows in the mid to upper 40s.

By Wednesday, a moisture-starved cold front will track through the region introducing another chance for a few showers, but again, we’re talking about #NoBigWhoopWeather here.

Expect mostly sunny skies and highs in the low to upper 60s and lows in the 40s once again #BrokenRecord #wheresmysandwich

The late week period for Thursday and Friday sees Canadian high pressure press into the region, and Thursday will be the chilliest of the week.

Highs will only reach the mid 50s to low 60s with lows in the mid to upper 30s, with patchy frost expected.

Friday through Sunday should feature mostly sunny skies with big high pressure dominating and highs in the 60s and lows in the 40s generally with not much wind.

By early next week, we watch the remnants of Hurricane Ian, which may impact the western FL coastline and/or its panhandle before pushing into the eastern mainland U.S., and eventually having its moisture pulled up close to or through New England.

I will keep you updated, so until then, have a great day!

AND REMEMBER…
“Hello babies. Welcome to Earth. It’s hot in the summer and cold in the winter. It’s round and wet and crowded. On the outside, babies, you’ve got a hundred years here. There’s only one rule that I know of, babies: Goddamn it, you’ve got to be kind.”
