YOUR MORNING DISCUSSION
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Good morning everybody, just a quick report today as I am at the Southern New England Weather Conference in Canton, MA for my Saturday, hoping to learn a lot!
As for our weather, a cold front will continue to slide east-southeast and despite an isolated shower possible, we will be clearing and watching northwest winds pick up toward later morning and into the afternoon with gusts of 20-35mph possible.
This is why the National Weather Service has hoisted Red Flag Warnings across MA, CT and RI, as our drought conditions combined with wind makes outdoor fire burns spread quickly, so please be careful, for yourself and others.
Highs will reach the mid 50s to low 60s, but temps will finally plummet tonight, bottoming out into the upper 20s to mid 30s.
Sunday and Monday will be cold, with temps below average, posting highs in the mid 40s to mid 50s with lows in the mid 20s to low 30s under plenty of sunshine.
Sunday night may produce a rain or snow shower in the high terrain mainly west of the I-91 corridor, but Monday night looks to clear out.
Tuesday = TransitionDay as high pressure starts tracking to the south of New England allowing highs to rise into the upper 50s to mid 60s under sunny skies with lows in the 40s.
Wednesday and Thursday are going to be toasty as full southwest flow develops, and pushes highs into the mid 70s by Wednesday, and probably the 75-80º range for Halloween Day under sunny skies.
However, a cold front will slide through with a few showers Friday which will be about 15º cooler, and then I’ll be watching to see if signals continue to come together for at least a couple of bouts of wet (and cooler) weather during the first half of November.
Here’s hoping.
