>>> MORNING DISCUSSION <<<
Good morning everybody, today will definitely be much nicer than yesterday for end of our weekend, so that’s good news.

It will be mostly dry, breezy at times with gusts up to 20-35mph out of the west-northwest with morning sun, and increasing clouds during the day as our upper low sweeps southeast through our region with its cold pool of air aloft, allowing clouds to thicken later.

In addition, a wave will move through in this regime this evening and spawn some rain and possibly snow showers in far northwest MA, southern VT and southwest NH before the whole things vamooses to the east overnight, with lows in the upper 30s to low 40s.

For Monday, a few gusts to 20mph are possible, but high pressure will build in, slacken the pressure gradient, and weaken surface winds in the region, as highs rise to well into the 50s.

As wind slackens, and we mostly clear at night, lows may get down into the low to mid 30s, and if that happens, patchy to widespread frost is possible.

Tuesday is our pivot day to a warmer regime, and highs should end up in the mid 50s to low 60s with lows in the 40s under mostly sunny/clear skies.

By Wednesday, strong high pressure builds south of us and over the western Atlantic Ocean, which will provide a warming southwesterly flow into New England.

This will produce a multi-day stretch of fair, and sunny weather with warming temps into the 60s and 70s for highs, and we may even reach the mid 70s by Thursday or Friday!

By the time we get to Sunday, a frontal boundary could be set to bring some showers to the region, which may hold off until Sunday night or early Monday.

This would signal the arrival of much cooler temperatures overall as we toward the first week of November.

But to be clear, no big rain events like we saw the past two days are being signaled right now, so hopefully we squeak out a nice weekend next week, we surely deserve it!

Have a great day!

>>> BE KIND <<<
“Hello babies. Welcome to Earth. It’s hot in the summer and cold in the winter. It’s round and wet and crowded. On the outside, babies, you’ve got a hundred years here. There’s only one rule that I know of, babies: Goddamn it, you’ve got to be kind.”
–Kurt Vonnegut
