WEATHER BULLETIN:
–An upper trough is going to swing through the region today and keep us under mostly cloudy skies
–We have some mist or drizzle this morning that has floated over the Berkshires, SVT, Taconics and Litchfields
–With temps in the mid to upper 20s there, slippery conditions are possible, so be alert
–Any drizzle/mist should abate, and we should begin to dry out with highs in the 30s region-wide with light north wind
–For tonight, it’ll be quite cold with northerlies moving in on the back side of the trough, plunging lows into the mid to upper teens
–For Tuesday, expect partly to mostly cloudy skies with highs in the mid to upper 30s and lows in the mid to upper 20s with a flurry possible
–On Wednesday, partly sunny skies are expected with highs in the mid 30s to low 40s
–A warm front approaches at night and may push some scattered snow showers into the region
–Lows will drop into the mid to upper 20s, and scattered mixed rain and snow showers will likely be around on Thursday morning, changing to rain showers with highs well into the 40s as we enter a milder sector between a warm and cold front
–The cold front, however, sweeps the region at night with highs in the upper 20s to low 30s
–Friday looks blustery, cold and dry with west winds gusting to 25mph and highs in the 35-40º range with lows in the 20s
–A cold but dry weekend is also forecast as we enter the month of December
–A storm signal bears watching for the December 6/7 period
Have a great day!
