MORNING DISCUSSION
Good morning everybody, we’ve got more fair weather days than not coming up over the next 7 days, and of worthy note, Thanksgiving travel for today and tomorrow looks weather-supported for sure.
For the remaining weather details, I’ll sprinkle a plethora of double–dashes below for your perusing pleasure:
–We’ll see a weak shortwave pass to our north today which will swipe the Rt. 2 corridor on northward with some clouds at times, with mostly sunny skies south of there
–A dry cold front passes through with this shortwave, and wind turns from southwest to northwest generally, and may gust up to 20mph in some spots north of the Pike
–Highs will be in the 40s with lows in the 20s to low 30s with dry conditions tonight
–Thanksgiving Day looks lovely, with mostly sunny skies and highs in the low to mid 40s with a light south wind, and lows near 30º with increasing clouds
–On Friday, another cold front moves through with a storm passing well north of us, so we’ll be come in overcast in the morning, with some periods of showers in the afternoon and evening
–Highs will reach the mid to upper 40s with lows near freezing as showers end
–Saturday is the pick of the weekend by far, with highs in the mid 40s to low 50s under sunny skies as high pressure nudges into the region
–It is short lived, though, and keeps trucking southeast, which will open the way for low pressure to track northeast over the Appalachians and into New England for Sunday
–Sunday looks mild with highs in the low 50s and plenty of showers around
–Showers should quit by midnight with lows in the mid to upper 30s
–Early to mid next week (starting Sunday night) looks like a breezier period behind the Sunday storm with wind gusts up to 25mph or 30mph at times
–Highs will generally be in the 40s with lows in the 20s
–Our next chance for inclement weather is Wednesday night into Thursday
–This is a pretty average late November outlook, so steady as we go, and safe travels to all
Have a Happy Thanksgiving!! I am grateful to you all!
Have a great day folks!

AND REMEMBER…
“Hello babies. Welcome to Earth. It’s hot in the summer and cold in the winter. It’s round and wet and crowded. On the outside, babies, you’ve got a hundred years here. There’s only one rule that I know of, babies: Goddamn it, you’ve got to be kind.”
