YOUR WEEKLY WEATHER NUTSHELL
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
–Temps are in the 20s to start the morning, and even in the valley cars are all iced up and travel is slipperry on sidewalks, driveways, walkways, etc. so be alert
–After 1-5″ of snow fell in the hilltowns, Berkshires, SVT and Litchfields, there will be slippery roads as well, so practice caution this morning when traveling
–Temps rise to the upper 30s to mid 40s for a cold early November day with sunshine increasing
–Lows will be cold again, with patchy frost and lows in the mid 20s to low 30s under partly cloudy skies
–Friday will see high pressure track south of us, and develop a southwest flow as a weak shortwave passes west to east well north of us
–Highs will be in the upper 40s to mid 50s, and southwest winds will pick up and gust up to 25mph or so Friday evening, with lows in the mid to upper 30s
–THE BEST WEEKEND IN WEEKS is on the way, folks!!
–It won’t be spectacularly sunny, and a spot shower IS possible Saturday night, but it looks like a mainly dry, partly sunny weekend with highs in the 50s and lows in the 35-40º range
–Monday looks quite similar to the weekend for skies and temps, but clouds will be increasing by later afternoon
–Showers are possible Monday night into Tues as a storm passes north
–Temps should hang in the upper 40s to 50s for highs with more sunshine by mid week, but before we talk details let’s check a note from our local and delicious sponsor, #TandemBagelCo, with their newest location in the Stop & Shop Plaza on King Street in Northampton, MA.
YOUR MORNING DISCUSSION
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Good morning everybody, there’s not much to discuss that wasn’t detailed in the Nutshell above the sponsor block.

It’s basically fair and seasonable weather Friday through Monday with a few showers possible Tuesday, and some more fair weather by the middle of next week, so pretty straight ahead.

The only thing I can caution you on is *this* morning, as I’ve been outside and it’s quite icy and frosty.

Walk ways, driveways, and elevated road ways, or even some valley secondary and tertiary roads may be slippery if untreated, so please practice some awareness of the surfaces you are traveling on by whatever means you are using to move.

This is a classic morning when evaporation did not fully complete itself overnight, and people walk their dogs and go flying, so don’t let that be you!

Again, thanks for all of the reports yesterday! Have a great day!

>>> BE KIND <<<
“Hello babies. Welcome to Earth. It’s hot in the summer and cold in the winter. It’s round and wet and crowded. On the outside, babies, you’ve got a hundred years here. There’s only one rule that I know of, babies: Goddamn it, you’ve got to be kind.”
–Kurt Vonnegut
