MORNING DISCUSSION
Good morning everybody, I try to put as much summary detail into the tops of these reports for skimmers, so I hope you find that useful.

As for the discussion below, let us discuss!

Essentially, we are in a westerly flow pattern with colder air advecting into the WMass region into next week with lots of fair weather.

The only exception is today and tonight/overnight when we could see (and are seeing this morning) periods of snow showers or flurries, mixed with rain showers during the day.

We can’t rule out some new coatings scattered about, especially in southern VT down into northwest MA, but most will just see “air snow” if they see anything.

This is due to the lake effect off of Erie and Ontario, the same one that will dump FEET through the weekend onto Buffalo and the Tug Hill Plateau of NY.

For us, we’ll be blustery today with highs in the upper 30s to mid 40s under partly sunny skies north and west, and mostly sunny skies south and east, and mostly cloudy skies in parts of SVT.

West winds will gust up to 30mph at times today, so it will be chilly and blustery. Lows tonight will drop into the low to mid 20s under partly cloudy skies with a few snow showers possible.

For Friday through the weekend, wind will be less, but still breezy at times but it will be mostly sunny with highs 35-40º Friday and Saturday, and only in the low to mid 30s Sunday. Lows will crater into the upper 10s to low 20s during this period.

Monday through Wednesday of next week ALSO looks fair, and a little milder (after the coldest day of the new season passing through on Sunday).

Highs should reach the upper 30s to mid 40s during this period, and possibly approach 50º by mid-week.

Thanksgiving also looks fair at the moment, but we have to watch for potential storminess as early as Thanksgiving Night and as late as that weekend, and we can’t rule out wintry precipitation in the form of ice at this point, though it *should* be mostly a rainstorm.

Have a great day, and there are just 4 days left to Order my Local-Photo-Filled, Educational, Practical, and highly Giftable 2023 Weather Wall Calendar, so be sure to order or get more info today (link below):

AND REMEMBER…
“Hello babies. Welcome to Earth. It’s hot in the summer and cold in the winter. It’s round and wet and crowded. On the outside, babies, you’ve got a hundred years here. There’s only one rule that I know of, babies: Goddamn it, you’ve got to be kind.”
