DHTWN REMINDER:
If you’ve got something that needs doing, and you have the ability to do it or work on it, do it or work on it, even if only for 5-10 minutes today. I’ve found after being a professional sloth in my earlier years, that talking about doing something is akin to “trying”. Take an action, even if a small one, high five yourself, repeat. Little small actions taken move you down the road.

MORNING DISCUSSION
Good morning everybody, I come bearing good tidings and good weather news upon ye all today!
I shallth deliver such news with great rapidity to ye by decree of double–dashery, forthwith, and with great haste!
SPRING-ARY, I MEAN SUMMARY
–Our dopey upper low is pulling way out to sea now, folks, so we’ll feel one last faint echo of its influence today
–This will come in the form of periods of cloudiness or partial cloudiness, and some isolated showers at times
–However, it should be mostly dry across the region, with highs in the 50s to low 60s and a light northerly wind
–We should continue to clear out tonight likely in time for viewing the Full Flower Moon which rises in the east-southeast just after 8pm, though some clouds may still be present
–Clearing continues overnight with lows in the upper 30s to low 40s, and then we walk through the door of deeper Spring Saturday
–Mostly sunny skies will develop thanks to high pressure building from southeast Canada down the eastern seaboard and producing a warming flow
–Highs will reach the 60s for all of us, and some low 70s are expected in parts of the Pioneer Valley from about Northampton south to Hartford, CT
–Lows will be in the 40s with dry conditions
–Sunday may see more partly sunny skies, but it still looks lovely, and warmer, with highs either side of 70º for highs and lows in the 40s
–Monday may even be a touch milder as southwest flow perfects itself across the region, with low to even mid 70s possible under sunny skies
–However, remember our dopey upper low? Well, our rainy buddy will likely retrograde (i.e. track west) toward Nova Scotia and interact with a wave diving southeast out of the Great Lakes on Tuesday
–This could bring some showers to far southwestern New England Tuesday and Tuesday night, and should bring some cooler temps by mid-week
–We won’t dip into the 40s for highs like this past week and the one before it, but we could drop back into the 50s to near 60º for a day or so
–Beyond that, it looks like warming flow resumes and we should climb back into the 60s and 70s by late week with fair weather
Have a great day, and I hope things go your way!
BE KIND
“Hello babies. Welcome to Earth. It’s hot in the summer and cold in the winter. It’s round and wet and crowded. On the outside, babies, you’ve got a hundred years here. There’s only one rule that I know of, babies: Goddamn it, you’ve got to be kind.”
–Kurt Vonnegut
