YOUR WEEKLY WEATHER NUTSHELL
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
–Abundant sunshine today after patchy fog burns off with high pressure building in, along with a secondary dry cold front coming through
–Highs reach the upper 70s to mid 80s with west winds developing and gusting 20-30mph by this afternoon and into this evening
–Lows drop to the upper 40s to low 50s under mostly clear skies
–Saturday looks nice as well prior to a weak wave moving through Saturday night into Sunday
–Highs should reach to either side of 80º on Saturday with mostly sunny skiies expected
–Some clouds will build at night with a few showers possible into Sunday morning, with lows in the mid to upper 50s
–Sunday looks more unsettled with a mix of sun and clouds and highs near 80º with scattered showers or a t-storm possible
–Lows on Sunday night dip into the mid 50s with a shower poossible
–By Monday we are goinig to be seeing a potent storm system develop to our northwest and hurl a frontal boundary at us
–There will be wind energy with this front, and plenty of moisture too, so rain could fall hard at times, and if the inversioon can be broken, strong wind gusts are possible by Monday night
–If you have outdoor plans for Memorial Monday afternoon or evening, I would advise you to have an indoor or tented contingency plan
–Highs on Monday will only reach to either side of 70ª, and the morning does look drier than the afternoon at the moment
–Next week is murky in terms of details, but overall it looks cooler in the 60s and 70s, and a storm may get trapped off of the coast with a wraparound high pressure system
–This may keep shower chances, cooler temps, and more clouds around into the mid-week period
YOUR MORNING DISCUSSION
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Good morning everybody, I hope you slept well, and hope things go well for you today. I am dealing with a migraine this morning, and so I can’t really see very well as a result, so I am going to have to let the Nutshell cover the weather details of the day.
The bottom line is that today and tomorrow look nice and warm and sunny, with some scattered showers developing late Saturday night into Sunday, with more widespread rain and potential wind for Monday (chart attached), especially in the afternoon to evening, with an unsettled, cooler look to next week.
Have a great day!
>>> BE KIND <<<
“Hello babies. Welcome to Earth. It’s hot in the summer and cold in the winter. It’s round and wet and crowded. On the outside, babies, you’ve got a hundred years here. There’s only one rule that I know of, babies: Goddamn it, you’ve got to be kind.”
–Kurt Vonnegut
