YOUR WEEKLY WEATHER NUTSHELL
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
–Please post any Aurora pics below!
–Our weather is quite pedestrian through next week with plenty of dry conditions, mixed skies, reasonable and (at times) seasonable temps, along with some showers Sunday and again Tues/Wed
–For today, partly sunny skies on average, mostly dry with a spot shower possible, and highs in the upper 50s to low 60s
–Lows will dip into the low 40s tonight with clouds increasing
–A system will approach from the eastern Great Lakes but pass to our south
–This pushes scattered showers into the Berkshires, southwest VT, and western CT, and as far east as I-91 or so, before drying more to the east
–Anyone could see scattered showers in the WMass region tomorrow, but more likely west of the I-91 corridor
–It will be cool, with highs in the mid to upper 50s, with lows either side of 40º as we clear out and make way for a lovely Monday
–Expect mostly sunny skies to kick off next week with highs in the mid to upper 60s
–Clouds increase at night as another system begins its approach, with lows in the upper 40s
–Another system passes south of us, but will be close enough to spread showers into the region, arriving sometime on Tuesday and lasting into Tuesday night and part of Wednesday
–Highs should be in the 65-70º range with southerly gusts up to 20mph by Tuesday into Wednesday
–Fair weather returns late week with partly to mostly sunny skies and highs either side of 70º
YOUR MORNING DISCUSSION
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Good morning folks, I have never seen the Aurora before, and even though the colors weren’t vibrant with lots of physical ribbon-y cascading motions, I think the coolest thing for me was the onset around 9:30pm last night.
It was like someone would turn a spot light on/off randomly, streaks of faint light across the sky, it was so ghosts and spirit-y, I just loved it.
Please post any pics you got from last night!
As for our weather, it pales in comparison to the excitement of last night, but after many super busy times over recent years, I am grateful for a bit of a break in the nonstop action.
The Nutshell above will cover your details above, but the bottom line is we’ll see a few showers tomorrow (especially in the morning), and again Tuesday / Wednesday.
Otherwise, we’re cooler than avereage this weekend, and then trending seasonable next week in terms of temps.
No big wind events, no big rain events, no severe events, no hot, no cold, just sort of down the middle, with a rare Aurora event that I will remember for the rest of my life.
Have a great day…
>>> BE KIND <<<
“Hello babies. Welcome to Earth. It’s hot in the summer and cold in the winter. It’s round and wet and crowded. On the outside, babies, you’ve got a hundred years here. There’s only one rule that I know of, babies: Goddamn it, you’ve got to be kind.”
–Kurt Vonnegut
