–By Tuesday, we could see a weak system bob north and throw some showers our way, especially by afternoon or evening, again with highs in the 50s
–The reality is that we are entering an actrive pattern, and we won’t have more clarity until a couple of days out from these events
–The mid to late week period looks unsettled, with potential for wintry precip of ice and snow in the high terrain west of the I-91 corridor possible, with another storm signal for next weekend
–A busy time is coming up, so please stay tuned for updates

YOUR MORNING DISCUSSION
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Good morning everybody, we’ve got a weak storm with moister origins that will send a steadily progressing plume of rainfall through our region, mainly this afternoon and evening, quitting before Sunday’s dawn.
A minor concern is for icing in the western hilltowns, the eastern Berkshires and the southern Greens at elevation where temps are at or just below freezing as the first scattered showers work into our region this early to mid morning.
If you are traveling up there, watch out for slick spots (and do let me know if you encounter any, even if it’s on your decks, steps or railings) but just know that temps will continue to rise into the 40s with everyone experiencing plain rain as the steadier precip shield comes in around noon, lasting to around midnight.
You will see less rain the farther north and west you go in MA and CT (and especially so in SVT and SWNH) and more rain east of the I-91 and especially south of the Pike where some folks could see an inch or more of rainfall by tomorrow morning.
Highs will be in the 40s today, and lows near 40º tonight with patchy fog possible.
Sunday and Monday look to produce a good amount of low level moisture which should keep more clouds than sun around our skies with milder highs in the 50s and lows near 40º.
The Tuesday through Saturday timeframe could produce not one, not two, but up to 3 unsettled weather events, and some wintry precipitation is possible for the high terrain in northern MA, SVT and SWNH later in the week toward the weekend.
The timing of these events, and overall intensity is uncertain still, though Tuesday’s looks lighter, and Thursday’s could be substantial.
Beyond that, we’ll have to get closer in to parse out the details of timing, onset, departure, intensity, precip type, etc.
I hope you have a great day, and if you depend on my work through each year, please chip in whatever is comfortable for you at the secure link below so I can continue through 2024… even $5 helps, thank you…
>>> BE KIND <<<
“Hello babies. Welcome to Earth. It’s hot in the summer and cold in the winter. It’s round and wet and crowded. On the outside, babies, you’ve got a hundred years here. There’s only one rule that I know of, babies: Goddamn it, you’ve got to be kind.”
–Kurt Vonnegut
