Western Mass Regional Weather for June 4, 2022

WINNING WEEKEND WEATHER AHEAD, FOLLOWED BY DROUGHT DENTING DAYS EXPECTED TUESDAY NIGHT INTO WEDNESDAY, THURSDAY, AND NEXT WEEKEND… ENJOY THIS 3-DAY STRETCH AND SAVOR THE SUN, PEEPS… 7:45am Sat…

Good morning everybody, from what I can see, we’ve got 3 gorgeous days ahead before our weather pattern begins to shift a bit starting next Tuesday into the following weekend with more inclement weather looking more likely.

But for now?

Gorgeousness abounds replete with star rays from a cosmic node around which we orbit, as we corkscrew aimlessly with 200-400 billion other celestial furnaces through the heavens at over half a million miles per hour.

This, my friends, is the miracle of our pre-frontal cortices, to KNOW this, and be able to wonder at all of it – we’re The Universe looking back on itself in amazement. What a thing!

Sorry, I thought this was my Dave Hayes The Philosophy Nut page, my bad… the weather’s coming up with a proliferation of double dashes to counteract the day’s delay and divergence!

SUMMARY
–Any low clouds or fog (I’m looking at your Orange and Pittsfield) will burn off and sunshine will abound
–Highs will reach the mid to upper 70s with a light west wind
–A cold front approaches from the west in the afternoon, and could spark some fair weather clouds, and a few light showers in CMass or northeast CT
–Lows tonight behind the front will be chilly with clear skies and lows in the low to mid 40s!
–On Sunday, sunshine reigns again with highs well into the 70s and a light northwest wind
–Lows will dip into the low 50s under clear skies
–Monday is the final fair weather day in our terrific trifecta with highs ranging from 75-80º under mostly sunny skies with lows in the mid 50s under partly cloudy skies
–Everybody say thank you to the high pressure cells responsible for such a sweet 3-day early-June period!
–By Tuesday, an upper level trough will be pushing into the Great Lakes and sending a cold front toward New England
–Clouds will build and showers should arrive by late in the afternoon and rain is expected overnight into Wednesday
–Highs will reach the mid to upper 70s with lows in the upper 50s
–Wednesday looks showery early, but we’ll have to get closer to refine this period going forward into next weekend
–For now, temps look to hang in the 70s, and a lull should develop Wednesday afternoon and night before more rain arrives Thursday
–Friday looks like a lovely day with brief high pressure and mostly sunny skies, but the threat for a big weekend rain storm looms, so stay tuned for updates and I will keep you informed

Have a great day and enjoy!
