YOUR MORNING DISCUSSION
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Good morning folks, there isn’t a ton to talk about, as we are under the influence of upper level ridging and surface high pressure systems for days on end at this point, which is a giant gentle air compression system, causing sinking and drying air over southern New England for days on end.
For Sunday night into very early Monday morning a weak little system will slip around the northern flank of the high pressure system now centered over PA, VA and NC. This may bring a stray shower or two, mostly south of the Pike, and some showers are possible again late next week.
Otherwise, it’s sun, low humidity, warmth, and light winds through Wednesday at least.
Highs should reach the upper 70s to mid 80s through Monday, and then sit either side of 80º into the mid-week period, with lows in the 50s throughout.
To be honest, it’s going to be perfect early summer conditions, and while we’re here, Happy First Day of Meteorological Summer!
Have a great day, enjoy the weekend, the Asparagus Festival is today which I’m gonna head over to at some point, and I will post again tomorrow evening for the week ahead as papa bear needs to sleep in tomorrow.
>>> BE KIND <<<
“Hello babies. Welcome to Earth. It’s hot in the summer and cold in the winter. It’s round and wet and crowded. On the outside, babies, you’ve got a hundred years here. There’s only one rule that I know of, babies: Goddamn it, you’ve got to be kind.”
–Kurt Vonnegut
