YOUR MORNING DISCUSSION
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Good morning everybody, we’re kind of back in the soup again, set between and betwixt a frontal boundary to our south, an upper level trough to our northwest, and high pressure out in the Atlantic Ocean.
Periods of showers, with some downpours and maybe a rumble of thunder are expected at times today, tonight, tomorrow and tomorrow night, mixed with dry periods.
There’s not going to be any timing to offer as to when it will be drier or wetter, it’s just a soupy pattern as the southerly flow continues into the region based on the upper low NW of us and the Atlantic high SE of us.
Highs today and tomorrow under mostly cloudy skies will reach to either side of 80º with lows in the mid 60s or so overnight.
We may get some sunny breaks at times today.
By late Wednesday night and especially Thursday, a cold frontal boundary associated with our eastward-tracking trough will be pushing toward the greater WMass region, and depending on the timing of this track, it may help to produce strong thunderstorms in the region, so I will continue to update on this piece.
Highs Thursday will reach to near 80º with drier air moving in at night with lows in the upper 50s to low 60s.
For now, Friday through Monday look dry, mostly sunny, and represent a warming period.
Highs will rise to the low 80s on Friday, but then well into the 80s over the weekend, and some of us should be hitting the low 90s by Monday.
We’ll start off with lower humidity, which should remain tolerable through the weekend before picking back up next week.
Have a great day!
