YOUR WEEKLY WEATHER NUTSHELL
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
–A storm is passing north of us, tracking west to east through Canada, which is bringing a cold front our way overnight
–This sweeps some clouds through our region this morning, with more sunny breaks this afternoon but a partly sunny day overall
–Highs reach the upper 20s to mid 30s
–Southwest winds will gust 15-30mph at times ahead of the front
–The front moves in tonight and brings a chance for a few snow showers in the Berkshires and SVT, but it shouldn’t amount to much of anything
–Lows will drop to the upper teens to mid 20s
–Monday through Wednesday look lovely as high pressure builds into the region, and temps will come up during the period
–Highs will reach the upper 20s to mid 30s Monday, the mid to upper 30s by Tuesday, and to either side of 40º by Wednesday with mostly sunny skies expected
–Lows will dip to the teens Monday night, and the 20s Tuesday and Wednesday night as flow backs from northwest early in the week to southwest by the middle of the week
–The Thursday through weekend period is murky in terms of weather details
–A front may be moving into the region Thursday, bringing more cloudiness and a chance for some showers
–Highs should be in the low to mid 40s, and a storm may bring some rain on Friday and possible mix in the high terrain
–Colder temps look likely to follow in the weekend with possible other disturbances, so stay tuned for updates as we get closer so I can sort that period out for you
–All in all, quiet weather is on the way through much of the upcoming work week
YOUR MORNING DISCUSSION
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Good morning everybody, the biggest news weather-wise over the next 4 days or so is some gusty southwest winds that will kick up later today, and even that isn’t much to write home about.

We’re entering a quiet pattern for the next several days, one dominated by high pressure moving in from our northwest for the early to mid week period.

As that passes to our east, we’ll get on its milder, return flow side (southerly/southwesterly), and that will bring the 40s into our region for the late week period, along with a couple of showery or stormy chances, so I will keep you updated as we move toward that timeframe.

I hope you have a great day, and as many of you may know, this old page and resource would’ve gone dormant years ago without the support of my patrons, so if you depend on my work through each year, please chip in whatever is comfortable for you at the secure link below so I can continue through 2024… even $5 helps, thank you…

>>> BE KIND <<<
“Hello babies. Welcome to Earth. It’s hot in the summer and cold in the winter. It’s round and wet and crowded. On the outside, babies, you’ve got a hundred years here. There’s only one rule that I know of, babies: Goddamn it, you’ve got to be kind.”
–Kurt Vonnegut
