MORNING DISCUSSION
Good morning folks, we have a lovely day coming up with light winds and mostly sunny skies in WMass, the northwest half of CT and SVT/SWNH, with some more clouds in parts of CMass and northeast CT as a coastal storm that brought rain to the southern coast and southeast MA and RI pulls out to sea.

Winds will be light today and highs will reach the 40s for the most part, with a few low 50s in northern CT possible.

We’ll see a quick wave dive through northern New England tonight and that should spark some snow showers or mixed rain/snow showers over WMass, SVT and SWNH before midnight, ending during the pre-dawn hours.

With lows in the upper 20s to low 30s, we could see some coatings in the cold elevated spots in the Berkshires, western hills, northern MA up into VT and NH.

By Tuesday, northwest flow will develop behind this weak/quick system with mostly sunny skies, highs again in the 40s, and northwest winds gusting 20-30mph.

Wind should slacken a bit Tuesday night as high pressure starts nudging in from the southwest, and lows should bottom out in the mid to upper 20s with a few clouds building.

Early morning clouds and a possible stray shower give way to mostly sunny skies and highs in the low to mid 50s with southwest winds picking up and gusting 25-35mph at times. Lows will hover around 40º and it should continue to be breezy overnight.

Thursday is when clouds should really begin to develop as a storm system approaches the Great Lakes and strengthens southwest flow into our region.

Highs are expected to soar into the mid 50s to low 60s with southwest breezes, and showers by evening. Lows will hang in the mid to upper 40s as scattered showers move through the region ahead of a cold front that moves in on Friday.

Friday is a changeable day with highs in the mid 40s to mid 50s and showers ending as a cold front sweeps through and turns our wind out of the northwest, and gusting it up to 40mph at times with blustery conditions developing for a wintry Friday night as lows crash into the teens.

The weekend looks lovely at the moment, with plenty of sunshine. Seasonably cold temps in the 30s on Saturday with northwest winds gusting up to 30mph leads to a more tranquil and sunny Sunday with highs in the 40s as we move right back into more Pacific flow and mild air for next week.

Have a great day!

AND REMEMBER…
“Hello babies. Welcome to Earth. It’s hot in the summer and cold in the winter. It’s round and wet and crowded. On the outside, babies, you’ve got a hundred years here. There’s only one rule that I know of, babies: Goddamn it, you’ve got to be kind.”
