YOUR WEEKLY WEATHER NUTSHELL
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
–A cold start in the upper singles to teens will wind up delivering us into the low to mid 30s under mostly sunny skies with a light northwest wind
–Lows tonight will drop into the teens with partly cloudy skies
–For Saturday, a weak system will be tracking west to east toward New England
–As such, clouds will be on the increase during the day
–With high pressure then east of us, a southwest flow will bring temps up into the upper 30s to low 40s with lows near freezing
–This weak system should produce a period of light snow showers overnight into Sunday morning, as they turn to rain showers
–This will be a light event, but we can’t rule out some coatings of snow by Sunday morning in some spots
–After any lingering showers turn to rain on Sunday, they should quit by afternoon as highs crest into the low to mid 40s with drying on XMas Eve and lows in the low to mid 30s
–Christmas Day looks lovely with partly sunny skies and highs in the upper 40s
–Tuesday also looks mild, but clouds should be increasing, and by Wednesday a more substantial storm system will likely pass to our west
–This will bring us rainfall Wednesday into Wednesday night, and behind that system, colder air will advect into the region
–This could set up a lake effect snow event for late next week where the Berkshires, western hilltowns and SVT could see some snow
YOUR MORNING DISCUSSION
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Good morning everybody, I am not feeling well and that coupled with the fact that there’s little to discuss other than what’s above in the nutshell, I need to keep it short today.

Bundle up out the door this morn, have a great day, watch for a few snow changing to rain showers tomorrow night into Sunday morning, enjoy Christmas if you’re celebrating, and stay tuned for updates on the mid-week rainstorm.

Stay healthy… Dave

>>> BE KIND <<<
“Hello babies. Welcome to Earth. It’s hot in the summer and cold in the winter. It’s round and wet and crowded. On the outside, babies, you’ve got a hundred years here. There’s only one rule that I know of, babies: Goddamn it, you’ve got to be kind.”
–Kurt Vonnegut
