>>> MORNING DISCUSSION <<< Good morning everybody, we've got a warm front pushing northeast into the region today, and ahead of it we'll see an area of showers and rainfall push through the region this morning. By afternoon, we'll get into some drier pockets, but more scattered rain showers should develop, and a few areas of downpours or even a strong thunderstorm or two are expected. Highs will reach the 70s today under mostly cloudy skies, though we can't rule out some sunny breaks this afternoon behind this morning rain shield. Scattered showers continue tonight with lows in the 60s along with some patchy fog, and by Tuesday morning we'll be watching another wave that will push the potential for more showers and thunderstorms for the morning commute, so I will update again this evening on that potential. After our push of showers/storms Tuesday morning, we should see more isolated activity during the day and evening with some sunny breaks and highs in the upper 70s to low 80s. By Tuesday night, a cold front sweeps through and dries us out, dropping lows into the upper 50s to low 60s with northwest gusts picking up by Wednesday morning. It could be quite breezy on Wednesday with gusts 20-30mph out of the northwest as humidity tamps down. Highs will reach the low 80s under mostly sunny skies, and it looks to be quite a lovely day! Lows will drop to either side of 60º with lower humidity. Thursday looks to start off sunny, but a weak wave will be passing to our north tracking west to east, and should produce a few scattered showers or thunderstorms in the afternoon and evening with lows in the low 60s. Friday, which was looking unsettled a few days ago, and is now looking quite nice with renewed northwest to west flow into the region, which will help produce sunny skies and highs either side of 80º. However, the weekend may feature a stronger system by Saturday which may help direct higher humidity into the region, and produce scattered showers and thunderstorms each day, so stay tuned and I will keep you updated on this potential as we move through the week. Have a great day! >>> BE KIND <<< “Hello babies. Welcome to Earth. It's hot in the summer and cold in the winter. It's round and wet and crowded. On the outside, babies, you've got a hundred years here. There's only one rule that I know of, babies: Goddamn it, you've got to be kind.” --Kurt Vonnegut
