WEATHER REPORT
Good morning everybody, I’ve got a double–dash hangover from yesterday, so I’m gonna do what Tony Robbins would suggest and persistently stick with my current summarizational plan and foist a cornucopious plethora of digital double–dashes (the 3 Ds) all across your retinas. Hope you were looking forward to double dashes AND clouds today!

SUMMAH-RY
–We’re kicking off this next rotation and turn toward our star (otherwise known as a “day”) with cloudy skies and light rain in some areas
–Highs will only reach the mid 60s to low 70s given our coastal storm being well south-southeast of Nantucket, generating onshore winds from off of the cooler ocean waters and spreading that cooled air inland
–North to northeast winds will gust 15-25mph at times, and we’ll see cloudy skies with scattered showers or a period or two of generally light rain, with some moderate bursts possible
–We have a vertical atmosphere that is not completely saturated, so with dry air pockets at various levels, it’s uncertain exactly who stays completely dry vs. who may see up to a quarter inch, to perhaps even half an inch of rain with heavier bands rotating in west off of the ocean
–Right now, such a steadier band could form between the MA Pike corridor up to around the MA/VT-NH state line
–In addition, the further east you are (think Fitchburg, Mt. Wachusett, and Worcester) should help with a better chance of seeing showers today
–Currently this morning the steadier light rain is along/south of the Pike in northern CT
–If the dry air wins out as the day winds into the evening, then we all just get some scattered light rain showers, but the hope is that some of us get that potential steadier rain ribbon by the end of tonight
–Lows drop into the 50s to low 60s as final showers end by early Thursday morning
–We should get a partly sunny day on average for Thursday with warmer highs in the low to mid 70s and a northwest wind gusting to 25mph at times, which will keep us a bit cooler
–Lows will be in the mid 50s as wind flow starts to turn from the south
–This southerly flow and flexing of the Bermuda High in the western Atlantic will first drive heat and sunshine back into our region, with an increase in humidity holding off until Sunday into Monday
–Highs Friday will rise into the low to upper 80s with pretty comfortable humidity and lows in the upper 50s
–Saturday is the hottest of the next bunch of days, with highs in the mid 80s to low 90s and lows in the low 60s
–By Sunday, expect highs in the 80s under sunny skies with lows in the low 60s as clouds increase ahead of a humidity surge
–Early next week (Monday and Tuesday) looks quite humid with highs in the low to mid 80s, along with the potential for scattered showers and thunderstorms

That does it for now, my friends, I hope you have a great day!

AND REMEMBER…
“Hello babies. Welcome to Earth. It’s hot in the summer and cold in the winter. It’s round and wet and crowded. On the outside, babies, you’ve got a hundred years here. There’s only one rule that I know of, babies: Goddamn it, you’ve got to be kind.”
