MORNING DISCUSSION
Good morning everybody, our weather is turning pedestrian for a big sunny and dry stretch that starts today and lasts through the weekend and all the way through next week as well, warming the whole way!

But for today, it’ll be windy at times with northwest gusts of 25-40mph expected, so hold on to your hats.

Red Flag Warnings are up for all of MA and CT due to the fact that where snow pack has evaporated, the ground is very dry with lack of much precipitation in recent days. This combined with gusty winds and exceptionally low humidity moving into the region, any fires will spread more rapidly if not managed well, so put that in the back of your hippocampus and refrain from smoking it!

After a sunny, gusty day, winds come down a bit tonight as high pressure starts to nudge into the region, with gusts no more than 20mph or 25mph expected, and cold lows in the 20s, with perhaps some upper teens in SVT.

Saturday is the coolest of this upcoming star-shine-resplendency party, with highs only in the mid 40s to low 50s with light northwest breezes, but sunny skies will prevail. Lows again will drop into the 20s.

On Easter Sunday, early April perfection is bestowed upon the lands with highs in the low to mid 50s under sunny skies, with calm conditions. Lows again drop into the upper 20s.

After that, we’re increasing temperatures through the week as the high that moved overhead this coming weekend, translate south of New England and starts the southwesterly heat pump, more of a summery setup.

Tons of sunshine next week, though a small potential for more partial sunshine on Tuesday #BooHoo #Wah!

Highs 60-65º Monday, 65-70º Tuesday, 70-75º Wednesday and 75-80º by Thursday and Friday is the general rule to go by in terms of temps next week with lows in the 30s Monday night, then 40s next couple of nights, then 50s for lows late week.

The Warmening is real, folks, so bust out your late Spring / early Summer gear for late next week.

One bummer is that pollen release is going to be on the increase, so if you are an allergy sufferer, set up your supplies to do battle with the irritants, because they’re coming.

On that sneezy note, have a great day!

BE KIND
“Hello babies. Welcome to Earth. It’s hot in the summer and cold in the winter. It’s round and wet and crowded. On the outside, babies, you’ve got a hundred years here. There’s only one rule that I know of, babies: Goddamn it, you’ve got to be kind.”
–Kurt Vonnegut
