DHTWN REMINDER: Can you swallow food no problem? Do you still have some or all of your human senses intact still? Have you laughed in the past week? Do you have food in your pantry or fridge? If so, these are things worthy of your gratitude. Life could always be worse than it is, so it can be useful to foster thankfulness for whatever it is that you have, now.

MORNING DISCUSSION
Good morning folks, temps are going to come up soon, but there is some patchy dense fog out there early that could be freezing on surfaces, so watch for that in your travels.
Any brief periods of sunshine today will eventually be overtaken by clouds moving in from the west.
This is in response to low pressure lifting into the southern Great Lakes with another low pressure area developing off of the Mid-Atlantic coastline tomorrow.
Highs today in the upper 50s to mid 60s give way to lows in the upper 30s to low 40s with light wind, that will increase out of the east tomorrow.
This is due to high pressure well northeast of us and low pressure tracking to our southeast. Both circulations will combine to direct easterly onshore flow into the region, which will cause winds to gust Saturday and Saturday night 15-30mph with highs only in the upper 40s to low 50s, so it will be RAW tomorrow. #SoupPicsExpectedAndThankYou
Rain arrives by mid to late morning, and showers last through the day and night at varying intensities with lows in the low to mid 40s with more showers.
We get a lull in the action (which may mean just less/lighter showers) during Sunday morning, and then at some point in the afternoon a second more potent storm will round the southern flank of the southern low and rip north-northeast through New England bringing more rain, heavy at times Sunday evening into Monday morning.
That second storm blasts out of here through Atlantic Canada, pulling warmer air in behind it for a very mild and sunnier Monday afternoon, with highs approaching 70º.
A cold front then moves through Monday night into Tuesday, and we’re again made to suffer the influence of another dopey upper low that will likely send another batch of rainy weather through on Tuesday, along with more afternoon showers through much of next week.
Highs will again be mostly in the 50s, lows either side of 40º, and small hail, graupel and even some gusty wind could accompany any heavier showers next week.
It’s truly a RINSE and repeat pattern!
May Life swing your way today. Take care, Dave.
BE KIND
“Hello babies. Welcome to Earth. It’s hot in the summer and cold in the winter. It’s round and wet and crowded. On the outside, babies, you’ve got a hundred years here. There’s only one rule that I know of, babies: Goddamn it, you’ve got to be kind.”
–Kurt Vonnegut
