MORNING DISCUSSION
Good morning everybody, our weather is fairly pedestrian over the next week, with no big severe weather events although the late-week warm up into the low 70s is notable given that it is substantially above average temperature-wise.

For today, we have patchy dense fog in spots, especially in Worcester early this morning.

As winds pick up later (first out of the east, then out of the west behind the cold frontal passage), fog will mix out later this morning where it formed.

Showers are pushing northeast into the region and we can’t rule out a thunder rumble as the front moves through.

It’ll be cloudy early with showers, and during a good portion of the day but a few sunny breaks are possible late as we begin to dry things out.

Highs will be mostly in the mid 50s to low 60s with lows under partly cloudy skies tonight in the 40s.

An upper level system swings through New England early Tuesday, and brings some more clouds and a couple of showers, but generally things should be improving into mid-week.

Highs will reach the upper 40s to mid 50s both Tuesday and Wednesday with more clouds Tuesday, and lows in the 30s Tuesday night with some areas dropping to or below freezing, whereas Wednesday looks sunnier.

High pressure continues to press into the region Wednesday night with more 30s for lows.

However, the cooling will cease as high pressure gets south of us, and turns our flow to the southwest, which will warm us into the 60s on Thursday, and then the mid 60s to low 70s on Friday.

By this coming weekend, another cold frontal boundary tied to another low pressure system tracking north of us will bring another chance for rainfall Saturday night into Sunday with milder temps Saturday (well into the 60s) compared to Sunday (highs in the 50s to low 60s).

Have a great day!

BE KIND
“Hello babies. Welcome to Earth. It’s hot in the summer and cold in the winter. It’s round and wet and crowded. On the outside, babies, you’ve got a hundred years here. There’s only one rule that I know of, babies: Goddamn it, you’ve got to be kind.”
–Kurt Vonnegut
