–We’re soaring into the 80s to low 90s again today with one last full day of star shine with light wind, enjoy it
–Temps cool from east to west as a backdoor cold front pushes in off of the ocean
–This should drop temps in eastern SWNH and eastern CMass, and far northeast CT by late afternoon
–Clouds begin to increase tonight, then more clouds than sun tomorrow

MORNING DISCUSSION
Good morning everybody, fortunately for me and my amateur social media hashtagging efforts, both the Western Mass Snow Lover’s Triangle of Disappointment and the Western Mass Summah Lovah’s Triangle of Delight share the same easily-remembered and hyper-elegant acronym of #wmsltod

It’s almost as good as my moniker’s hash tag of #dhtwn

They just roll off the tongue, don’t they? #NOT

Moving along, we are starting off quite mild this morning, and this will help temps to come up quickly as the sun rises higher in the sky.

Meanwhile, it’s a race against time in eastern MA, and to some extent, eastern parts of my coverage area (notably the counties of eastern Cheshire NH, eastern Worcester MA, and Windham CT), as onshore flow will be developing with a backdoor cold front pressing west into southern New England, which will drop temps, and drop them quickly in some cases.

Regardless, highs will shoot up into the 80s to low 90s today with light wind and tolerable humidity. There’s a very low risk for fire spread, so I need to mention that too.

Temps will come down tonight with lows mostly in the upper 40s to low 50s as partly cloudy skies develop ahead of an incoming weak system for Saturday night into Sunday.

Clouds continue to increase Saturday with temps some 15-20 degrees cooler than the highs for today and yesterday, topping out into the mid 60s to mid 70s.

Scattered showers are expected to push from south to north into the region, as a storm tracks northeast off of the east coast and remains south of New England.

This is a weak system, but should rotate some showers through late Saturday afternoon, and mostly Saturday night into very early Sunday. Lows will be near 50º.

Sunday should still feature isolated to widely scattered showers at times, with highs in the low to mid 60s. With continued cloudiness and southerly flow ahead of a Monday night cold frontal passage, lows will again sit down to either side of 50º.

By Monday, another cloudy day is expected with highs in the low to mid 60s as rain moves in during the afternoon with the cold front, with continued rainfall Monday night and lows in the 40s.

This won’t be a washout, but up to half an inch or so of rainfall is expected.

Tuesday will be cool, highs in the 50s with a chance of showers, and lows will be in the 30s with some SNOW showers possible in the high terrain, so we have that going for us!

Wednesday looks breezy and cool, and then we should warm back up into the 60s for later next week.
