MORNING DISCUSSION
Good morning everybody, our east coast ridge and surface high pressure to our south is going to pump the heat today and tomorrow before seasonal reality reasserts itself by early next week.

Expect mostly sunny skies today with highs in the 80s with some folks hitting 90º with west winds gusting 10-20mph at times.

This will keep the risk of fire spread up a bit, but not as bad as the past couple of days. Lows will be in the 50s with lighter wind and mostly clear skies.

For Friday, we have our last very warm day with highs in the 80s under sunny skies, and lows in the low to mid 50s as clouds increase.

Saturday will feature a back door cold front pressing westward into eastern MA and southeast NH. How far west this front gets is unknown, but likely it gets hung up somewhere over CMass.

To the west of the front highs will be in the 70s, and along and east of it more in the 60s to perhaps upper 50s, so I expect most of us will be unseasonably warm Saturday with increasing clouds.

Meanwhile, a coastal low center will be bobbing northeast toward Nantucket, which will push more clouds and some showers into the region by Saturday night, lasting through Sunday and Sunday night with intermittent showers at times.

Lows Saturday night will be in the 40s with highs either side of 60º on Sunday.

By Monday, a cold front will be sweeping east and bringing more showers to our region, and likely a more widespread period of rain as the front moves through. Highs will be in the upper 50s to low 60s.

This front slows down to our east, and likely lays about bringing additional showers at times into the middle of next week with highs only in the 50s with onshore flow, so seasonable weather is returning for next week.

Have a great day!

BE KIND
“Hello babies. Welcome to Earth. It’s hot in the summer and cold in the winter. It’s round and wet and crowded. On the outside, babies, you’ve got a hundred years here. There’s only one rule that I know of, babies: Goddamn it, you’ve got to be kind.”
–Kurt Vonnegut
