Good morning everybody, now that the thunderstorms from earlier this morning have pushed out of our area, we will start to experience a west-northwest wind today, which is a downsloping wind off the hills, which should prevent any storm growth today.

A cold front will be approaching and moving through today, and could kick off some showers and thunderstorms in northern New England later today and this evening, but the wind direction should help to keep us dry for the most part, though an isolated shower or storm overnight can’t be ruled out for Western Mass.
We’ll have another humid and very warm day today with partly sunny skies and highs in the mid to upper 80s. The storm complex over the Great Lakes will be shunted to our south and west for the most part by high pressure that will build in to our area behind the cold front. Humidity will be on the decrease through tonight and tomorrow.
June 18, 2014 High Temps
Tomorrow through Monday we’ll enter a beautiful stretch of dry weather, and average in the upper 70s to low 80s, with drier air, and partly to mostly sunny skies. We might see more thunderstorms next week, but for the next several days, we’re going to have killer weather.
Have a great day!
