The broken record of beautiful weekends with mid-week thunderstorms continues!

Good morning everybody, a beautiful weekend has arrived for Western Mass, with comfortable humidity levels, sunshine, and highs in the mid to upper 80s. Canadian high pressure is again in control. This is a broken record I could listen to forever! Well, as long as some snow mixed in from time to time :-)

After some patchy morning fog burns off this morning, we’ll see a partly to mostly sunny day. Some diurnal cumulus clouds will develop as there is a bit of instability in the atmosphere, but fair weather will prevail.

Tonight we’ll see lows down into the 50s for another night of comfortable sleeping conditions. Tomorrow humidity starts to increase slightly, but should still be very comfortable. A slight chance of a shower, with highs again in the mid to upper 80s.

Monday is when the humidity starts to become more noticeable, and even more so on Tuesday. High pressure will move off the coast, and open up a southwest flow of very warm humid air to advect into New England, ahead of a mid-week cold front, which could bring strong to severe thunderstorms to our area Wednesday and Thursday. Mid to upper 80s through Thursday for highs.

Friday, July 4th, looks a little cooler and dry, as the cold front clears our area. So a beautiful July 4th weekend is shaping up! Have a great day.
