Good morning folks, here is your Wednesday Weather Summary:
–Cooler, dryer air mass in place, isolated showers, mostly cloudy
–Warm front returns tomorrow, with more showers

–Weekend looks beautiful, with sun and highs near 80

Good morning folks, clearly we have a different airmass in place today, now that the front has cleared our region to the south and west.

We can expect mostly cloudy conditions, with showers early across the westernmost zones including the Berkshires. Showers are impressive on radar out over New York state and pushing east-northeast, but with the dryer and cooler airmass in place, that should help to erode most of that rain as it pushes into this dryer air. Nonetheless, we could still see some showers later today, mainly west of the river.

Highs will be around 70 degrees today, with a light east wind. Lows in the mid 50s, good sleeping weather!

Tomorrow, a portion of our backdoor cold front returns as a warm front, and this will help to focus some showers in Western Mass tomorrow, with highs in the low 70s.

Friday a cold front will approach, and because of its attendant lift (cold fronts force warmer air ahead of them skyward), along with some instability and moisture, we could see thunderstorms develop, and some could be strong.

The weekend looks great! Highs near 80, and mostly sunny. Have a great day!
