Good morning folks, here is your Thursday Weather Summary:
–Some showers today, more possible towards evening
–Cooler for this time of year, highs around 70
–Showers and thunderstorms tomorrow ahead of cold front
–Weekend looks beautiful, partly to mostly sunny, 80s.

We’ve got a couple more days of unsettled weather, before we break out into a BEAUTIFUL weekend, very similar to last weekend.

Today, we’ll see occasional showers, that may become more towards evening. Highs will be cool again for this time of year, around 70 degrees.

Overnight, and tomorrow morning a cold front will being its approach towards Western Mass, and this will result in more numerous showers and thunderstorms tomorrow ahead of it. Cold fronts produce lift in the atmosphere, meaning they force air up, which causes condensation and convection, resulting in showers and storms, if there is enough moisture, and enough instability.

No real threat of severe weather at this time, but I will keep an eye on it and let you know if that is to transpire.

Highs will get up into the mid 70s tomorrow, and then the weekend arrives with highs around 80 Saturday, and mid 80s for Father’s Day on Sunday. Saturday could start with a shower, as the cold front will be clearing our area sometime during the morning. Then the sun should break out, and all will be lovely.
