Good morning everybody, we had a BEAUTIFUL Sunday, just a perfect day yesterday, and we’ve got another beauty for today, too!

Dry air, mostly sunny, highs in the low 80s, and a calm wind. There is a low pressure system to our northwest in Canada to the north of the Great Lakes. The counterclockwise motion around it is allowing for warming southwest winds to push into our area. High pressure to our south off the coast of Virginia is facilitating this flow as well.

A warm front will approach us over night, and we could see a shower or thunderstorm, as more humid area reaches our region by tomorrow, with warmer temps, and highs into the mid 80s!

Then on Wednesday, as the Canadian low pushes east, it will drag its attendant cold front through Western Mass. With cooler and dryer air behind it, and warmer and humid air in front of it, this will create lift in the atmosphere, and instability we’ll be available to produce some thunderstorms on Wednesday as we soar towards 90 degrees.

We begin to dry out and cool down through the weekend which looks fantastic.
