Good evening everybody, thanks so much for all the reports today, quite the hilltown snowfall. Saw the potential for up to 8″ in SVT, but clearly enough cold air drained south and east to give many areas a healthier snowfall than expected. I heard Readsboro, VT got 9″ officially, and I did see a report of about 10″ in Heath.
If you have anymore you’d like to share, I would definitely appreciate it. Below are some totals from NWS, but they may be old or incomplete (SCROLL FOR FORECAST):

WEATHER SUMMARY
–For tonight, patchy fog is possible early, otherwise we’ll be mostly cloudy with lows in the upper 20s in the Berkshires, SVT, SWNH and western hilltowns, and in the low to mid 30s in the valley, CMass and northern CT
–For tomorrow morning, a weak wave will be riding east-northeast along a frontal boundary south of New England
–This will generally keep about a tenth to two-tenths of an inch of rainfall confined to southern and eastern CT into RI and southeast MA
–However, a few breaks in the cloud deck may form in SWVT, SWNH and northern MA
–If we get some light precip or even drizzle to form across WMass and CMass early tomorrow morning, we could get some freezing drizzle or very light snow to form in patches, which may cause some slippery spots tomorrow morning early
–Otherwise, it will be mostly cloudy with highs in the upper 30s and lows in the mid to upper 20s with clearing skies late
–High pressure builds into the region for Wednesday, which will produce a mostly sunny day with highs in the mid to upper 30s. Lows will dip into the upper 20s to low 30s with clouds increasing
–Yet another west-to-east tracking low pressure system (broken record weather!) will arrive after midnight on early Thursday morning, similar to this past storm (though that one passed to our north)
–The incoming low’s warm front will extend its snowy middle finger into WMass (that’s one for the snow haters *wink*), and produce accumulating snow before dawn Thursday morning
–Sometime around dawn, we will be changing to rain in the lower valley, and ice in the upper valley and high terrain areas
–Another moderate snowfall is possible, though at the moment I think we see less snow. We shall see
–We should milden up Thursday and turn it to rain before quitting Thursday afternoon, with highs in the upper 30s to low 40s
–A cold front crashes through by Thursday night and causes temps to plummet into the mid to upper teens under clearing skies
–Friday is cold and sunny with highs either side of 20!!
–Saturday looks a bit milder, but still cold and fair, with some light precip possible by Sunday night
Have a great night, peeps!!
